President of the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) Walter Nyamilandu has become the highest paid person in Malawi following his FIFA appointment as Council Member. Malawi Insider understands.
FIFA will be paying its 37 elected members whopping $250,000 (About K183 million) annual stipends, making it about K15.3 million per month.
On top of that, Walter Nyamilandu will also be entitled to an additional $150,000 (about K110,00) per diem as well as business class travel and accommodation while attending FIFA meetings.
Nyamilandu will serve the post for the next four years.
